Worklogs make it easy to keep track of what everyone is working on without heavyweight tools.
Jot down milestones as they happen and let Awesome figure out how to organize and make them available to your team. No forms. No TPS Reports. You do you.
Use the /worklog Slash Command to share what you're up to with the current channel:
/worklog updating our Spaceship guidance system
When you want to broaden the reach of your Worklog, just add #channels and @people to your Worklog and Awesome will notify them:
/worklog updating our Spaceship guidance system #spaceships @captain
(posts your Worklog to the current channel, #spaceships, and DM's it to @captain)
If you're not staring at Slack when a Worklog is shared, don't worry! While regular messages float by in the stream, Awesome keeps track of Worklog updates for people and channels and allows you to recall them at any time.
Awesome can get you up to speed on recent Worklogs for a channel or person:
/worklog #marketing
/worklog @captain
If you want the full picture, Recaps include Worklogs alongside other useful information for a channel or person:
/recap #marketing
/recap @captain
As always, you can get a refresher from within Slack:
/worklog help
/awesome help
